Before joining the faculty in 2005, Dr. 史蒂文森 had two successful careers: one as a professional musician in Boston; the other working for luxury hotel brands in Washington, D.C. 和波士顿. Dr. 史蒂文森 embarked on his third career by completing a Ph.D. in Behavioral Neuroscience at 美国大学 and trained in the 精神药理学 laboratory of Dr. 安东尼·L. 莱利. Following his graduate training, he did a post-doctoral fellowship in Pharmacology in the laboratory of Dr. Steve Negus at McLean Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
