The 职业研究 program gives students a broad education that will prepare them for a variety of career paths. 学生 are prepared for opportunities including application to graduate programs in occupational therapy, 物理治疗, 咨询, 特殊教育, 公共卫生, or related health professions — as well as professional careers as an assistive technology professional, 健康教练, 健康协调员, 活动负责人, 健康教育家, 案例管理器, 医药销售人员, 或者是心理健康和教育方面的辅助专业人员.

The requirements laid out below for the first two (2) years of enrollment apply to any undergraduate program of the Westbrook College of 健康的职业. 从第三年秋季学期开始, 学生将按照他们的项目具体的进度指导方针进行学习.

• Failure to maintain the minimum GPA requirements will result in academic probation as described in the Catalog of the University of New England.
• 学生 must achieve a minimum grade of C- in all required math and science including the following courses: MAT 120/150, PHY 125/110, 生物104/105, 生物208, 生物209, 和BIO 309.

• Failure to achieve the above referenced minimum grades will result in program level probation and the need to retake the course - therefore affecting academic progression.

• Failure to achieve the above referenced minimum grade a second time a course is taken will result in dismissal from the major.

学生 who are enrolled in other majors at the University may apply for admission into the 职业研究 major by completing a change of major form. The 招生 Committee meets at the close of each semester to determine eligibility on a space-available basis.
